Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi followed by a scenic drive through Kenya’s lush central highlands toward Aberdare National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch before enjoying the cool mountain atmosphere and beautiful forest surroundings. Later, explore the park’s scenic landscapes known for waterfalls, dense forests, and abundant wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, giant forest hogs, and various bird species. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful mountain wilderness.
Days 2: Explore Aberdare National Park
Spend the day discovering the beauty of Aberdare National Park with guided nature activities and wildlife viewing experiences. Explore scenic forest trails, waterfalls, bamboo zones, and open moorlands while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding highlands. The park offers excellent opportunities to spot wildlife such as elephants, leopards, hyenas, antelopes, and monkeys within its unique forest ecosystem. After a relaxing day in nature, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Aberdare to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Aberdare and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive around the lake and surrounding acacia woodlands. The park is famous for its flamingos, rhino sanctuary, Rothschild giraffes, lions, leopards, zebras, and beautiful panoramic viewpoints overlooking the lake. Enjoy breathtaking scenery and wildlife photography before returning to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Begin the day with breakfast before driving toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destination. Travel through scenic landscapes and traditional Maasai regions before arriving at your luxury safari camp or lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive across the vast Mara plains where you may encounter elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and numerous other wildlife species. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.
Days 5: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara
Spend the entire day exploring the incredible wildlife-rich plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve offers exceptional opportunities to spot the Big Five alongside wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, and hippos along the Mara River. Day 6: Maasai Cultural Experience and Wildlife Viewing
After breakfast, enjoy another exciting day in Maasai Mara with additional game drives and an optional cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village. Learn about Maasai customs, dances, beadwork, and their strong connection with wildlife conservation while interacting with local community members. Continue exploring the reserve’s diverse landscapes while searching for elusive leopards, rhinos, and predators roaming the savannah. Day 7: Return to Nairobi
