Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi followed by a scenic drive along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway toward Tsavo East National Park. Arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp in time for lunch before heading out for an exciting afternoon game drive across the park’s vast red-soil plains. During the safari, look out for Tsavo’s famous red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and numerous bird species around waterholes and open savannah landscapes. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.
Days 2: Full Day Safari in Tsavo East National Park
Spend the day exploring the spectacular wildlife-rich landscapes of Tsavo East National Park with morning and afternoon game drives guided by experienced safari experts. Visit famous wildlife viewing areas including Aruba Dam where animals gather to drink water, especially during the dry season. The park offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and breathtaking views of Kenya’s untouched wilderness. After an adventurous day in the bush, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation.
Day 3: Tsavo East to Diani Beach
After breakfast, depart Tsavo and continue your journey toward the Kenyan coast arriving at the beautiful Diani Beach in the afternoon. Check into your luxury beachfront resort and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the soft white sandy beaches while enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze and stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Watch the sunset over the coastline before dinner and overnight stay at your beach resort.
Day 4: Diani Beach Relaxation and Water Activities
Enjoy a full day at leisure on Diani Beach where you can relax by the beach, swim in the warm ocean waters or participate in optional activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, kite surfing, deep sea fishing, jet skiing or beach volleyball. The tropical atmosphere, palm lined beaches and crystal-clear waters create the perfect environment for relaxation and adventure. Return to your resort in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Days 5: Wasini Island Excursion and Dolphin Experience
After breakfast, enjoy an optional full-day excursion to Wasini Island where you will board a traditional dhow boat for an unforgettable marine adventure. Cruise through the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean while searching for dolphins and exploring colorful coral reefs during a snorkeling experience. Enjoy a delicious Swahili seafood lunch on the island before returning to Diani Beach later in the afternoon for relaxation and overnight stay at your resort.
Day 6: Departure and Return Journey
